Marina City Space to Bounce Back as Table Tennis Club

A “ping pong social club” will take over space in River North that has sat empty for six years. The social club, SPiN, describes itself as “an unusual mixture of sport, design, and entertainment.”

Co-owned by actress Susan Sarandon, SPiN has locations in New York, Los Angeles, Toronto, and Dubai. In addition to Chicago, a new location is opening soon in Brussels.

Chicago Tops Country for Company Expansions & Relocations for Second Year in a Row

According to a new report from the corporate real estate magazine Site Selection, businesses love Chicago.

River North Company Creating 600 New Jobs

600 new jobs will added to Chicago’s economy by a tech company based in River North.

ContextMedia, Inc., which has about 110 full-time employees working in 33,000 square feet at AMA Plaza, will create 200 new jobs this year and 400 next year.

McDonald's opening River North office

McDonald's is opening an office in Chicago's River North neighborhood, primarily to house digital employees, a senior executive said Tuesday night.
